realme Buds T310 or OnePlus Nord Buds 3r: what the reviews and the spec sheets say

Read on 11 October 2026: the realme Buds T310 lists 46 dB noise cancelling that the Nord Buds 3r lacks, the Nord Buds 3r lists the longer battery, and the T310's evidence is two 2024 editorial reviews against the Nord's five Indian ones.

This reading sets the realme Buds T310 against the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r, two true wireless earbuds sold in India near Rs 2,000, read on 11 October 2026. The two sides of the sample are not the same size, and that shapes everything below.

For the Nord Buds 3r we use our published Master Review of 8 October 2026: five Indian editorial reviews from The Week, Business Today, Smartprix, Digit and Fone Arena, dated September to November 2025, with OnePlus's own product page, read again today.

For the realme Buds T310 the sample is thin. We found two editorial reviews, both from the Philippines: Gadget Pilipinas (28 August 2024) and GadgetMatch (12 September 2024). No established Indian publication review was readable. Beside them sit Fone Arena's report of the India launch (30 July 2024), four smaller review sites that carry affiliate links, one aggregator page of Reddit comments and two retailer listings. realme's own India product page no longer loads, so every T310 specification below is the maker's figure as the launch report and the reviews repeat it. Every T310 count is out of two editorial reviews, and two reviews cannot carry a consensus the way five can.

Consensus

On paper the two pairs share a lot. The makers list a 12.4 mm driver, Bluetooth 5.4, AAC and SBC codecs, an IP55 rating on the earbuds and a game mode near 45 milliseconds (45 ms for the T310, 47 ms for the Nord Buds 3r). The spec sheets part on two lines: noise cancelling and battery.

realme lists 46 dB hybrid active noise cancelling with three levels and a transparency mode. OnePlus lists noise cancelling for calls only, and four of the five editorial reviews of the Nord Buds 3r name the missing noise cancelling for music as its main compromise. OnePlus lists the longer battery: 12 hours from the earbuds and 54 hours with the case, against realme's 9 hours with noise cancelling off, 6 hours with it on and 40 hours in total.

Across the reviews we read, both pairs are liked for the basics. Both editorial reviews of the T310 are favourable overall, and the Nord Buds 3r reading is favourable on battery and fit. This is a reading of two uneven samples on one date, not a measurement of either pair.

Recurring strengths

Noise cancelling. For the T310, both editorial reviews describe the noise cancelling and its modes. GadgetMatch describes clearly hearing the difference between the modes in its own use. For the Nord Buds 3r there is no noise cancelling for music to praise.

Battery. Four of the five Nord Buds 3r reviews praise the battery, and two report their own hours. For the T310, GadgetMatch describes rarely needing to charge during its review period. Gadget Pilipinas repeats the maker's figures without timing them. On battery the larger sample, and the larger claim, belong to the Nord Buds 3r.

Fit and weight. All five Nord Buds 3r reviews call the fit light and comfortable. Both T310 reviews describe it as lightweight, and Gadget Pilipinas gives 4.2 grams per earbud and a snug fit for most ears.

Sound and tuning. Three of the five Nord Buds 3r reviews describe energetic, bass-forward sound. Both T310 reviews describe several equaliser presets in the realme Link app. Gadget Pilipinas reports its own frequency-response measurements and describes the balanced preset as close to a neutral target, with a separate bass boost preset. GadgetMatch describes the default tuning as heavy on bass with layers still audible.

Game mode. Four of the five Nord Buds 3r reviews report the 47 ms figure OnePlus lists. For the T310, GadgetMatch mentions the game mode and dual device connection without a figure of its own.

Recurring complaints

The Nord Buds 3r. No noise cancelling for music (four of five editorial reviews), bass that crowds the middle (three of five), points about the case (three of five, each a different point), no wear detection (two of five) and call microphones that struggle with background noise (two of five).

The realme Buds T310. Neither editorial review names a recurring fault, which in a sample of two says more about the sample than about the earbuds. The complaints we found come from the smaller review sites, each a single site's view: no wireless charging (EarbudsArena and Fayorax), noise cancelling weaker than premium earbuds (Fayorax and AudioPick), calls that may disappoint (AudioPick), no automatic pause when an earbud comes out and a plastic case that scratches (EarbudsArena).

Shared. Music not pausing when an earbud comes out is raised for both pairs: by two of five editorial reviews for the Nord Buds 3r and by one smaller site for the T310.

Where reviewers split

How strong the T310's noise cancelling is. Both editorial reviews describe it favourably. Two smaller sites, Fayorax and AudioPick, say it falls short of premium earbuds or of what the figure suggests. None of these sources reports a measured noise cancelling test, so we leave it as a split rather than a verdict.

Calls. For the Nord Buds 3r, three editorial reviews praise calls and two find the microphones struggle with noise. For the T310, PadhKeDekho describes good call quality and AudioPick is doubtful, while Gadget Pilipinas describes the call features without judging them.

Bass. The Nord Buds 3r reviews split three to one on whether the bass is punchy or limited. The T310 reviews describe a bass-heavy default that the presets change, so the tuning a T310 owner hears depends on the preset chosen.

Editors against owners. Neither pair has a readable buyer tier: Amazon.in did not load. The Reddit Recs page for the T310, updated today, counts 27 Reddit comments and sorts 23 as positive, 2 as negative and 2 as neutral. One commenter there found the T310 bulky in the ear next to a OnePlus pair, a single view and not a theme. For the Nord Buds 3r the same aggregator counted 17 comments, mostly positive.

Price over time. The T310 launched at Rs 2,499 with a launch cashback to Rs 2,199 (Fone Arena, July 2024). Reliance Digital lists it at Rs 1,899 today. The Nord Buds 3r launched at Rs 1,599 with a list price of Rs 1,699 to Rs 1,799, and its maker's site was reported at Rs 1,999 on 7 October 2026. A sale can move either figure.

Who each one is for

The reviews do not crown either pair, and the samples are too uneven to try.

The realme Buds T310 fits a reader who wants noise cancelling for music near this price, since realme lists 46 dB hybrid noise cancelling and both editorial reviews describe it, and a reader who likes to adjust tuning through presets. It asks that reader to accept a thin sample: two editorial reviews from 2024, from outside India.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r fits a reader who puts battery claims and a light fit first, since four of five editorial reviews praise the battery and all five the fit, and who can live without noise cancelling for music. Its reading rests on five Indian editorial reviews.

A reader who wants music to pause when an earbud comes out should check either pair before buying, since the complaint is raised for both.

Sources

Not read: realme's India product page (page not found) and Amazon.in (HTTP 503). Left out: one smaller site that says the T310 has no noise cancelling, which contradicts the maker's figures and both editorial reviews.

We read seven editorial reviews dated August 2024 to November 2025, one news report from July 2024, the OnePlus product page and six other public pages on 11 October 2026, and synthesised them with AI; nothing was tested.
